Our mission.

DETS helps professionals in environmental, experiential, and outdoor education navigate the thoughtful use of digital tools. We work with organizations and educators to determine when technology can meaningfully enhance learning and when it is better left aside.

Through consulting and resource development, DETS supports the integration of technology into existing programs in ways that strengthen, rather than distract from, experiential learning. From nature journaling to AI assisted curriculum design, we help educators explore practical approaches that support reflection, creativity, and connection to place.

Our mission is to help individuals and organizations engage with the evolving digital landscape intentionally while developing strategies that balance innovation with the core values of outdoor and experiential education.
